Not a fragrance that I can detect, yet. The first time I had it bloom I thought I smelt something sweet, but it could be my brain. And I grow it in a northwest faving window, it doesn't ever get direct sun until about May and it gets it from the west for about an hour at most, that also depends where I put it in the windowsill, Right now I have it in the farthest spot and won't get any direct light. And sorry I don't really know the footcandles wise of light. (If that's what you are asking.)

Hi, thanks
No I dont want to know foot candles. But tell me. Does it get uniterrupted dark period at night? I have a feeling mine does not bloom because its in the living room and it gets light from our lamps and such until late at night, and often (because my wife is a teacher) the lights go on again 3-4 in the AM.

It's in my room, and I have reptiles that require the special UVB lights and depending the day (weekdays: those lights are off by 9 due to school, and weekends: off by 10:30.) And at night I have red heat lights, but it is about 5 feet away from the nearest light. So in a way... Yes and No. Sorry to not be of much more help. Oh, and also, during this time of the year here it is still dark outside when I turn the lights on and open the blinds.Again, sorry to not be able to fully answer your question.

Thanks, what you describe is pretty good. Probably counts as uninterrupted light for the plant.
