Just a really nice little yellow rose blooming in the back corner ...seemed to be trying its best to defeat the snow and gloom outside for me...

Oh almost forgot although its a miniture it has a really good scent too...

yes it is under lights ...lol well at the outer edge anyways,I bought a couple of these last month at Home Depo in bloom ...they did the normal run of losing blooms and dropping leaves ..they got trimmed and are returning to bloom now....this little yellow is a nice has the nice spicy rose scent .

These are Patio hit roses and will get about 2 1/2 feet tall and LOL there are 5 in each pot I really need to get them into a bigger pot

cool! I asked about the light, cos when ever I have tried to grow small potted roses inside, even in windowsills, they went downhill quickly lol

This one is sitting at the edge of the light from a 100 watt Metal halide .... It was a outdoor floodlight fixture but I bought it and removed the bulb and ballast to hang above the chids that needed a bit more light the bulb fits a regular size socket if you run the wires from the ballast to it ...creamic socket of course because of the heat ....but makes it possible to use a cheap reflector and hang it...

Metal Halides will do to grow anything I have found so far ....
