Indoor gardening, including starting seeds and planning for this year's garden. Looking forward to orchid shows.
Long walks on our nearby trails, and hearing tree frogs singing in January! I still can't get over that. We have been here less than 2 years.

Moonlight on the snow.
The color of the sky on a clear evening at dusk.
Birds at the feeders.
Colored lights reflecting in the mirror (still have the Christmas lights up).
A good joke.
My morning cup of coffee.
Gosh, there's a lot!
And of course, my orchids blooming away.
Thanks for this thread- I feel better already.

Toiday I saw a goldfinch sitting on the ground, it was obviously resting for some reason, it didn't appear hurt, and moved away when I got too close. To see such a beautiful little bird so close up was really great.
I love my coffee too, Connie, and my dog, and my kids, and seeing the big Moon and for somebizarre reason, when the RAF jets scream over the house, that always gives me a thrill!!
But the best thing today was spotting the snowdrops up in the front garden - spring is coming!!

Ah, Hedge, I love it when the moon is big and full as well Living on Mersea, when you drive on to the Island when the tide is up and the moon is glowing, it's fantastic!

Islands are beautiful. The winter seabirds, the seals, eagles and different birds at the feeder in the winter.
Sunsets and mountains from the porch.
