Do we have enough (snow) yet!
Seems to be a bumper crop for snow this year. Here are some pics from our 2nd big dump of the white stuff. This time around we got 75 cm (30") in 10 days. Enjoy and stay warm!

We got 14 iches or so on Dec 26th, and then another 2-3 a week later, then an ice storm a week later and last week we got another 5 inches. Its nothing compared to you, but its a lot for us down here in NYC. So, do you ski to work?

Now that's a lot of snow! Over here in the netherlands "a lot" is maybe a foot of snow, which happens rarely. It did happen in december, where there was snow on the ground the entire month. In January all we're getting is our usual fare: tons of rain!

We're supposed to get pasted again (by our standards) Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Not only that, it was 1°F this morning.

I like cold weather, but -25F, that's a bit extreme!

The coldest I have ever seen was a Christmas up in the North Battleford SASK area back in the early 60's. it was -25°F, and the folks there expressed it as being a "heat wave".

We woke up to -22 a few days ago and Sat. morning was -18. That is actual temp, not windchill. We get pretty used to it every winter. That and getting a foot of snow 2-3 times a winter plus lots of smaller amounts. Ah well, winter in Wi.

So down here they call the cold air we get in winter the "Alberta Clipper" In the future, could you please keep it, pretty please?
