Early X-mas w/ Pinus pinea
A decked out Italian Stone Pine (Pinus pinea)!
My economical way of celebrating the holidays.

Nice! How long have you had it?
I'm a big fan of Pinus cembra (Swiss Stone Pine) after seeing them in situ on my honeymoon. I currently have one in the garden but having one potted for Christmas is a great idea. They grow so slowly, they could make an awesome potted tree.
Pinus cembra
Cheers.

Hi, Jim.
The Pinus cembra looks beautiful. I like the color and it's full.
I had mine for a week already. It's unlike a lot of pines I've seen.
The branches that the pine needles are on, are fleshy instead of woody. It's got a soft kind of appearance to it.
