Beautiful greenhouse space hog...
I figure that if I were to uproot this I'd have room for more bench space, but the flowers she throws all year, especially in the dead of winter have earned her a place. Perhaps when I put up the larger greenhouse I'll stick her in the corner instead of right in the middle...

Cool, what is it? Looks like the tomato family. Datura or belladona or something.

I have one and the common name is angel's trumpet. Brugmansia belonging to the Solanaceae family I had to look that up. I'm not that smart.LOL

Actually I think Daturas would better be described as tender perennials; I have a pot in the greenhouse that sulks during the cold months, but blooms its head off in the warmth of summer. It does not die at the end of its bloom cycle, just puts out seed pods and naps for the winter, only to gear up with the longer days of spring. I think most people just grow them as annuals.
BTW, easy way to tell the two of them apart: Daturas' (Devils Horn) flowers face upwards (so as to tempt the heavens...) and Brugmansia's (Angels Trumpets) face downward (so as to pacify Earth)...I'm not sure who came up with temptation/pacification thing, but it is true (generally) as to which direction the flowers of the genus' face...
