Thanks Doc, I don't get the best light so that's very likely it. My light is more suitable to orchids
Actually I finally got rid of the last cactus because the spikes kept stabbing me when I tried to water it, I still have some succulents though. My Mum gets the succulents I have to flower by putting them out in her porch which has two glass sides and a glass roof.

Just being you, Al. That's all it takes and you'd be surprised how many people on this board you've helped or had a kind word for or just got them to smile. The sad thing is we always here back about the "not so nice" things we say or do even when it is done with a light-hearted intent. And we rarely hear about the positive side of things....

Like you, Adam, I stuff things in so tight you almost can't move! I've added extra shelving that wasn't part of the original greenhouse to accommodate as much as possible. Some of the larger orchids, like the cymbidiums, have to go on the floor under benches; not the best but all I can do.
