After reading about it I LOL remembering that about 4 days ago my wife was complaining about a real bad ordor coming in the Florida room window. aparently the flower smells like a dead animal to attrack those green flies. It is planted right outside the window of my Florida room. Glad it only smell for a short time after it opens.

Wow!! Amazing Amorphophallus! What conditions does it grow in? I've been hunting a species of Amorpho that I might be able to get away with growing indoors.

Tin Check out the is link Amorphophallus paeoniifolius rare jungle flower of tropical China
Mine happens to be planted in area that gets mostly shade expect in the morning (not in pot). I have had mine for about 6 years and this is the first time it has ever flowered. If you get one to bloom you will definitly wish it was out side. My wife said it smell alot like dung and rotten meat. Glad I wasnt home at the time
