Halloween Fun!
Wooooo!!!!!!
HALLOWEEN!!!!!
Halloween isn't my favorite holiday, but it's sure high on my list!
What are you guys doing for Halloween? Going to parties? Trick-or-treating? Dressing up the little kids in embarrassing costumes?
And speaking of costumes- what are you dressing up as??
I'm helping out at my church's Halloween party this evening. And dressing up in my old medieval gown (super comfy) that my mom and I made back in 8th grade.
And pan horns.
And maybe a fox tail.
Forest queen maybe?

Hi Izzie, Sounds like Fun
Halloween's not really a holiday that's taken off in my corner of the world (despite the efforts of local shops etc.) However, a couple of times in the past, I have taken Halloween sweets in for my students and handed them round when they answer questions correctly.

That's a great idea Jenny! I think most of the appeal here is the novelty of being able to pretend to be something you're not. I know I love it!
Awesome smiley! -steals-

Be fun to go to a Halloween party.
There's a huge Halloween carnival, or festival, or whatever it is, here in Hollywood that a lot of people go to. Don't have to dress up either (I'm not a fan of dressing up).
Parking in Hollywood is a nightmare though...
I've never been there, maybe this year I should just to get out of the house.

I was thinking of going to the "Zombie Crawl" in Denver this weekend...but I'm not feeling quite that brave.

Some info about it- How The Zombie Crawl Works
Apparently we "killed" the record this year, at least 7300 zombies.
I did give my friends that went some food for the foodbank that's part of it.

Believe it or not, I'm pretty sure I've seen that on our news! Every week, the BBC does a thing they call the 'Odd box' where they round up the week's strangest news stories and I'm almost certain that was on there! (...if not the Denver one, then something that looked very much like it )

Awesome Jenny! Our National Public Radio works with BBC, and does something similar.
Here's a picture from my night of fun. Lots of cute little kids- but this is some of us big kids that helped with the games and reading scary stories.
I ended up being one of the only people that wasn't....dead.
Faun royalty of some sort. Not to be confused with a satyr!
