Yeauch, they are really ugly to me - like something out of a horror film! I'm going on a fungus Foray at the local park tomorrow, hope we don't find anything so creepy!

Although Jew's Ears are pretty weird too. (Yes I wondered about the common name, but I don'e know the Latin.) They grow on the underside of branches and apparently are edible. I'll try and get a photoof some local ones tomorrow.
