On a side note, yeah I know old thread (but I didn't start it!). Here in so. cal I have seen some azaleas and the like grown like bonsai--fewer blooms but more compact size. Food for thought, plus it might feed the need for another addiction....

I went to the home depot and they were having a garden extravaganza! Tons of Rhodies, Pieris, Blueberries, and Heathers too.
