It's been a while...
I have been missing my orchid board fix for some time now.It has been an awful summer for me this year.I lost some plants that have been with me a long time,I just couldn't keep up.The chemotherapy and radiation nearly did me in,I almost croaked in June.My prognosis is better now although my doctors are not yet using the "remission"word yet.I miss you all,I'm still here, and getting better[too stubborn to do otherwise].Bless you all,Brad

It's good to hear your feeling better, and I'm glad you checked in with all your friends on OB. I pray that you make a full remission recovery.

Hey Brad, I'm glad you checked in! Sounds like you've had a pretty rough time of it this summer. Chemo is NOT fun.
I know the helpless feeling of not being able to take care of the orchids and also the yearning to do so. Plus, it's not something that just anyone can take care of for you.
But hopefully, the worst is behind you and better days are a head!! Just keep on keeping on.
You're in my prayers.

Thanks to you all for your kind wishes. It's a comfort to hear all your kind words. My wife,God love her,was blessed with a black thumb. Most of the plants that died were drowned[literally]in good intent and kindness. No worries.Think of all the replacements I can justify now!Yahoo, look out vendors, here I come!Let's see,Chicago is only a couple hours away, there's Natts,Oak Hill,...should be fun.Brad
