Default Attention Administration "What's up with the gallery?"

This is probably not the appropriate place to make this post but here goes anyway.

Am I the only one who's noticed the strange gallery format??? It has huge, medium, and small pictures and is hard to view without scrolling left to right and up and down. Does the same thing when you click on member galleries. The large pictures seem to be thowing everything out of proportion on the viewing screen. IMO it was much more user friendly and pleasant to visit when everything was uniform in size. Is it going to stay this way or is this just a glitch since changing servers......or is it just my computer and I'm the only one noticing the change?

Thanks.

Nope, it's happening on mine, too, and the pictures are way to big to view on my screen

Thanks Hedge. I'm glad it's not just me. It's not a very user friendly screen and it could potentially turn away new visitors. Hopefully someone will address the situation and fix it soon.

Same here.. & I hardly ever had (ages ago) 'the blank pages' either..what I do have from 'forever' is that OB takes 'longer to "come up"..

This happens when you open Gallery not an individual member's gallery.

On a related subject: Since we upgraded the board to have the Social Groups, I have created Albums of photos on my User Profile page. This is also where I access my Friends and see visitor messages etc. Yet if I go to Galleries, at the top line I can access "My Photos. My Albums.... " If I click on this there is an option on the same line that shows "Home.Search.Profile....." If I click "Profile" it takes me to a completely blank Profile which has options like Buddies. Here I can then access my Forum User Profile from where I can finally access my Albums!

In other words there is a duplicate idea hanging over from the old version of the Board which is wasting space, possibly?

Update: It's even worse than before. All the gallery pictures are huge now and each picture takes up the whole screen. It takes patience and a whole lot of scrolling to view the page. Don't know what's going on but administration may want to investigate. They might have overlooked this thread. Does anyone know how to contact them?
