I just love 80s music. Even though I wasn't even born until the end of the decade, I've become a fan of the music. The music of the period was diverse, to say the least, and it's very different from what you hear on the radio today. I also like stuff from the 90s, and my latest obsession is Electronic music, but I thought I'd post a couple of tracks (or a lot) from the 80s.
I fell in love with 80s pop and rock when I was still in high school. One of the local radio stations had special-themed weekend lineups, among them an all-80s ("The Awesome 80s") lineup. I loved hanging out in my room, doing weekend homework with the radio turned way up.
I found out about the tracks in Spanish via my mom. She sometimes listens to a latin radio station, and I heard them on there. Since I don't know much about Latin artists, I had to do a little research to find out more about them.
It's cool to see such diversity in music. It's a shame you don't hear music like this too often anymore. Even though 80s songs are played now and then, most of the stuff on now just doesn't have the personality. I'm sure the 80s were a fun decade.
