Got this from Sue couple years back but this is the first time it has bloomed for me. The flowers are actually darker than this in my apt lighting but I took it outside to get more light.
Hmmm, on another forum someone suggested it might be Huernia schneideriana and both flowers are similar. I wonder if there is any easy way to tell the two apart? ..................
Caesar, there is a faint odor -- not sure if strikes me as more fecal or something rotting. But I couldn't detect any odor until I held the flower about a centimeter under my nose.
