The smoke was pretty serious yesterday! But shouldn't we have been heated up? The temperature here was about 69F. It heated up to 72F around 1:00... I needed a long sleeve shirt to walk around...

Hopefully all who live near the fires are safe...

Fires are about 50 miles north of my home, tinky tinky stuff goin' on. With the smoke puts a damn spike in trying to soak up the rays

This a.m. headed to work with visibility less than 2 miles....very smoky, winds changed cleared nicely than after my 8 hr shift...heading back north a mere 8 miles from workplace to home...tinky tinky tinky again...can't even open your doors without the stinch sneaking indoors. Hopefully the rains from Andrea will put the fires out. Just fear the ones with asthma, my son has to be very careful when outdoors....many others seen wearing masks.

Doin' a rain dance here

Actually lyn here on the OB is closer than myself...hope your well lyn if you have an opportunity to see this thread.

Thanks for asking--we were pretty smokey here day before yesterday. We are not that far the the Everglades fire. Yesterday and today they closed I-75 (Alligator Alley) because the visability is so bad from the smoke.

We are safe though and hope all the rest of you are OK too.

Still pretty stinky here today, as the winds shift the smell gets better. The kid is back to doing Neb treatments...if the still of the night would go away things would be better.

Oh, Andrea .... send some rain. I will bucket it for you Khill and send it your way.

Rained all day here yesterday and I had to mow the grass. Does that count?
