Sorry... I just noticed ..
I remember in a post about the color of orchid for those who donate that your request for red went to the wayside as mine did for the lilac color. You commented that you didn't even have a gold one then. ... so .. congrats!

It's a Schomburgkia! (thomasoniana)
The wild banana orchid of the Cayman Islands .. their national flower!
It's a Myrmecophilia .. ant loving orchid .. It's hollow pseudobulbs (?) provides a place for ants to nest as the ants provide the plant with organic matter.
Win - win situation!
Quite fascinating !

And they're fragrant, too.
