Default Kolanchoe

Another Trader Joe's acquisition. My wife told me not to get it cause I have too many plants, but I couldn't help myself.
In the Crassulaceae, probably Kalanchoe blossfeldiana. Unlike its cousin the Jades which bloom in winter, this one blooms in the summer time.

Grows like a weed. got a larger one at Lowes for 50 cents. was dry but now is growing under fluorescents.
Maybe repot it as it may be in peat moss.
I got some Hoya lavcunosa for $ 2 at Lowes. Were you at the TJ in Brooklyn, Qns or Manh?
any orchids to buy?

Oh man, I got jipped! I paid 4 something for that little plant, at the Queens Trader Joes. Where is your Lowes, I have never been to a Lowes. Sounds like your Lowe's has a nice selection of cool plants. TJ's here has a few Dendrobiums, nothing special.

well yours came in a nice pot. for what you save shopping at TJ you can pay 1 or 2 bucks extra. Lowes is by the Gowanus canal. Only one so far but one is supposed to open soon on ave U near Kings plaza. I find stuff that is on the dying rack under the sun. They have a nice Maxillaria tenuifolia and some Brassavola hybrids in a bag for 13 $... I would have gotten the Maxillaria hadnt have already a tiny division. anyway Kalanchoes grow easily and you can multiply them by leaf cuttings I think.

At theTJ in Brooklyn they had a large beautiful Den nobile but too large and I already have one. I only go for the 9 99 orchids. I do not see anymore Onc Twinkles and I really wanted to get a Miltonidium Rosy Sunset but nothing like that anymore. This year looks like only stuff from Kerry Orchids. Less tags and less varieties. The Onc Twinkle I got at TJ is one of the healthiest/ best growing orchids I have.

N'aw, did you get one of the bitty ones?
I have a few, I've had to restart them this spring because they got leggy over the winter without enough sun.
