Kinda cute. Glue traps are cool. No mess. but you have to know where they frequent.

Do they die on glue trap or is it designed for catch and release?

Is there a wildlife rescue where you are? I know when I was in California, anytime I found say a gopher, gardener snake, bird, etc; they would come out and take them somewhere.

Too bad they're rats...they're kinda cute
Get those traps out, you don't want your pups playing with those rodents

Rats or not...glue traps are cruel
They scream until they die...if you're gonna "trap" them, make it quick and painless, use a regular trap

Well, you can always get the cage traps, kinda like what they use for coons and what not.

Best to do it yourself--The other night a friend of ours caught a skunk in the Hav-a-Hart trap. The animal control people wanted $85 to remove and/or relocate the critter. Personally, I would have just released it back into the yard again. CAREFULLY!!
We have a family of raccoons that visit our back deck for birdseed and the "fast food" in my husband's two ponds. I plan on using the trap on them and dropping them off somewhere else. But rats are a different story--get rid of them ASAP. The babies may be cute now, but soon they will be of breeding age and you don't want them in your back yard

I very much dislike rats!
I was driving through our neighborhood at night recently and stopped for what I thought was a cat...then to my surprise it was a giant RAT! I started screaming "Holy Crap!" Turns out, the kids noted it was a possum which is just as ugly if not more so
