Default Peanuts and Poinsettias

The Poinsettia was a gift from a business acquaintance and the companion peanut plant was a gift from Mr. Squirrel.

hehe nice! I get walnut trees popping up all over thanks to the squirrels. Boy do those get very deep roots while the plant is still quite small

Here's another example of their handiwork. I planted the pregnant onion and the squirrels planted the Day Lillies and and Amarillis.

Squirrels are talented gardeners. I might as well furnish them with a set of mini gardening tools, flower pots filled with soil and a sign saying "Go for it." Who knows what they might come up with?

I love it. I feed peanuts to the scrub jays, and get a rather impressive crop when the plants come inside for the winter.
