Default strawberry with a little more

I found this little beats the other day in the strawberry patch. I am trying to decide weather or not to see if it tastes as good as it looks

Believe it or not but that strawberry had better flavor than most of the rest of them from that patch the texture of the leaves was not too bad either.

That's just brilliantly weird
If it's tastes better too, I hope the plant does it again for you.

Looks like the stawberry's seeds already germinated.

I've heard of fuzzy strawberries, but I've never seen anything like this. When I first saw the pic, I thought it was a mutant flower of some sort.

The other strawberries on that plant were all normal.
The seed had not germinated the leaf was coming out from around where the seed should have been.
A strawberry is not a real berry the red part is closer to being a stem and what look like normal seeds are actually wrapped tight in a modified leaf
