Plumeria with no roots, just planted, and blooming

That's great. My plumeria is outside all year long as it's planted on the ground. It's HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE.

We have to keep cutting it back (I should pot the trimmings, no? DUH) I'm trying to win some other plumerias from this vendor on ebay. I've wanted to get into cultivating these for a long time.

BTW, Plumeria is the national flower of my Nicaragua, my native country!!

We call it Sasquanhoche.

Since this is my first Plumeria, I've got questions. Do you dead head them to promote more blooms? My plant is still producing buds and blooming from the original flower heads (which kind of look like sticks now), but they're fewer and far between. When they expire should they be left alone or trimmed from the plant?

Photo update:

We leave ours alone. Eventually, the leaves will fall off and leave just sticks. The flower heads will also fall off. We trim when it gets too wide because ours is planted right in the middle of the backyard (and the area is narrow).

Speaking of which, it never occurred to me to plant the cuttings (DUH) but I'm going to do that during the weekend. I just cut off a HUGE section so I should just pot up it up.

Thanks for the tip on Craigslist--I'm trying to buy some from some plumeria farm. I had no idea plumerias had names like orchids!
