Sue, it looks like two bushes from the difference in colors. Or is there some trick here?
Nice ones none the less. Thank God orchids did not evolve thorns.

Gorgorous rose!
I think someone grafted two different roses on the root stock

 It is grafted
It's been planted for almost 2 yrs but they always bloomed either one color or the other until now...it's the first time both are blooming at the same time!

Or maybe the root stock sent a shoot and bloomed....
The root stock is usually not the same plant as the graft but one that has more vigor

Sue, try growing some of the antiques, a lot of the bourbons, tea, and china roses do very well here - without grafting.
To give you an inea I have a copper-colored tea rose that is grown to the top of and through a 15-ft mango tree.

I leave the outdoor stuff to hubby I'm so obsessed with the 'chids, all the other stuff barely matters
Though, I'd LOVE to see a picture of that copper tea rose! Sounds amazing!!!

Sue, To me, It looks like a peace rose. Sometimes it will throw off red roses since one of the parents to this cross is a red.
It's just beautiful, I love these. But so do all the grasshoppers around here
