Jerry, as you might imagine from the looks of the plant, its common name is "Brain Cactus".

Jerry, I only have two Stenocactus currently. If you'd like i will pollinate both and send you seed... I can even cross the two....
This is the other. The flowers are last year's but it is just beginning to flower again.

Stems????? Are you making reference to the stamens? Please don't take my comment wrong; not trying to hurt feelings but I'm not sure I understand what you are making reference to?
Sorry, but I seemed to have had a senior moment and called the pistils, stamens!!!! Just goes to show you what happens when you get old...ish!

If you don't mind Doc, that sounds great. I don't know if you saw the cacti blooms I posted a few days ago but the hybrid pups like crazy. If you are interested, perhaps we could trade.
