what type of flower/tree is this???

I have this 8-9 ft tall flowering bush (not flower/tree, i realize the error in my title) in my backyard that I cannot identify for the life of me. I've been googling like crazy with no luck and hope someone here can help me out. The bush just started blooming a very sweet scent. The flowers have five petals and the entire flower is about the size of my pointer finger fingernail. I live in NJ and this tree only flowers for a week or two, then it's just leaves the rest of the summer.

Well it's not an orchid I know that for sure. Other than that I'm not sure.

I'm going to move your thread to the off topic area as this area is really for Orchid ID's. Maybe someone will be able to help though because we have a lot of members with a lot of knowledge of non-orchids.

It looks like a Viburnum. Could be V. burkwoodii, or a burkwoodii - bodnantense cross, or some other related hybred.

Looks like a Viburnum to me also, a good look at the buds and the nodes between the leaves should confirm it.
