Texas birds
I just got back from a 10 day bird-watching and wildflower trip to south Texas. Thought I would share some of the birds I saw.

Some interesting species, I like the heron and the fella with the blue head. Any idea what they are?
Thanks for sharing.

Todd, where were you in Texas. I have a thought where, but wanted your answer first. I'm betting along the Rio Grand.

I birded from Aransas (Whooping Cranes) to Brownsville then up to San Ygnacio. Great trip! As for wildflowers, I have soooo many....I'll have to be selective! Stay tuned!
