Default My First Christmas Cactus Bloom

My little Christmas Cactus decided to bloom. I got her as a small noid cutting about 1 1/2 years ago and never knew her bloom color or if she was actually the Christmas blooming type. This is her first open bloom of the season. She has 8 more buds, and yes, the first bud began opening on Christmas Day.

Congratulations - you have obviously got the natural daylength reduction going well - I find mine don't flower if I put them in a room with artificial lighting. It's a really delicate shade too.

Congratulations! I was given one of these at Christmas and my Mum had some gorgeous ones in flower while I was there. I really love them.

Congrats June, very pretty colour. I just love this and have a couple myself budding. 2 of them look just like yours. The other 2, a red and an orange. I would love to get a yellow but 60$ per 5inch was abit more then I wanted to pay.

To bud mine up in the quickiest was is to ... I put them in total darkeness for 10 days then move them to the window ledge - within 3 days the buds begin to appear.
