Signing off...have lost patience with blank pages again.
Is anyone else still having problems related to blank pages while trying to navigate or post pictures? It keeps happening to me and it only happens on this site. I must sign off cause it's makin' me crazy. Good night all.

It happens occasionally to me too. All I do is refresh the page and it goes back to normal.

It seemed to stop for awhile, and recently (the past few days) started again. Unlike you, Sue, refreshing the page does nothing. When it happens, the only real fix I get is to close the window or tab and try reopening in. A real pain when you were in the middle of doing something...

Only thing that works for me is go to Facebook, or some other board. While Facebook gives me problems, they at least acknowledge it and keep working on their servers. The other couple boards I frequent are setup the same as OB so probably use same software yet have no white page problems. In fact one (Cigar Weekly) gets nearly as much action as OB and never gives me trouble.

I passed the other forum-problem thread along to Marty. There's nothing more that I can do

I've wondered if it is due to too much activity compared to the power of the server.
Unfortunately unlike facebook Marty does not have a huge budget to work with and so is limited in what he can get as far as the server goes. Usually these sorts of things are paid for at an ISP monthly and the amount you pay per month directly relates to how much 'power' you get.

Just think...Marty used to take care of all this out of his pocket. It took a number of us a long time to get him to allow us to contribute which helps a LOT!
Thanks so much to all of our member-sponsors...
you're what helps keep this place going

It happens to me from time to time. Sometimes a page refresh will bring it back, or close down and reopen the browser, and then if all else fails I clear out my browsing history and cookies.
