Ponytail Palm-beaucamea recurvata seeds

I live in Cocoa Beach, Fl. I have a ponytail plant that we keep outside & for the first time in ten years or more it spouted a stem on top & produced a bunch of seeds. Does anyone have any experience propogating these seeds & growing new plants? I read some info on another site, but I wanted to know if anyone has hands on experience. Thank you.
