Default Succulent Jungle

My youngest sister and I have shared a passion for succulents for many years. We have been swapping plants for 20+++ years.I took a few photos the other morning of the collection and thought I would share.I've recently started her out with orchids by giving her two Phals,a Ludisia ,and a Cymbidium.Fun stuff. Brad

Wow! That's pretty cool. I like looking at succulents, but for some reason I always end up sacrificing them when I need to make room for other plants. Mostly because I can't give them enough light to really look good.

But I still love looking at what other people are growing!

Cool, Brad! When we lived in Southern Oregon (just south of Ranch Nanny) I grew Cacti and had a larger collection than I do orchids now. I really love the blossoms these stark, sometimes ugly, plants can come up with. My cacti collection has dwindled to a mere 10 spp now. But I have saved the ones with the most dramatic blooms.

Thanks Ross. Some of these plants are 30 years old.My sis keeps the majority of the collection as I also have moved around the continent a lot.It has been fun collecting and sending her plants from all over,Phoenix,Dallas,Monterey, different places where I worked.I'm trying now to infect her with the orchid bug. So far,so good. Brad

Great collection there.
Wouldn't want to trip and fall into it though, for more reasons than one.
