I did see what happened with Jan Pahl and I'm glad I wasn't involved!
But Sue, Jan Pahl aside, you and the rest of the mods have and continue to do a great job of keeping this forum safe and clean. I want to express my gratitude. This remains what is, in my opinion, the best orchid forum on the net, and it's largely thanks to you guys!

I'm the one who should be doing the thanking. If it wasn't for you guys, I don't think the boards would be the same. My orchids also have everyone to thank. Your tips and advice have saved them from their share of jams.

As one board member who has stuck around through a few years of recurring "crap" I must say you have cleaned your share of diapers It just seems to be a part of forums that once we get enough members, someone wants to rant and/or cause trouble - sometimes over ocrchid topics, but not always. I have learned (after rising to the bate a couple times myself) to just ignore offending posts and move on. I know you didn't mean for this thread to go on so long, Sue, but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate your tireless work behind the scenes. Many of us would get frustrated long before you, and that's what makes you so good as a Mod. Thanks Sue - and all you others too  |
