Mike, those are bad and good news... I just open this thread and read the bad news about your health... my thoughts stay with you for a full recovery... good to know they told your sister that your case is a simple one (cancer is not the same as cancer... every case can be different)

however, I am a bit concerned with the fact they said you would pee the tumour out and then the lungs will heal from alone... my experience in oncology is mainly in the classical medicine side, however I am always open for alternative treatments... but sometimes thing do not make much sense... I do not know which kind of cancer you have been diagnosed with, but what your sister was told confuses me a bit... have you had a second opinion from an oncologist at a local, or even better university hospital? I would do that...

you guys its been a roller coaster ride had great news recent biopsy diagnosis was excellent NO MALIGNANT CELLS WHERE FOUND but I spoke to my doctor of the happy news and he made me feel like crap I dont like that Dr. very much he said the biopsy could be in error that the tumor is 10 cm. x 9.9 cm x9.9 cm and the place they took samples could have been dead a long time causing the final diagnose to show as no MALIGNANT activities now im going to a second opinion from a very well known oncologist i feel like im really on one of those major rollercoaster ride

Mike, I'm glad to hear that you are getting a second opinion. Ramon is right that every case is different. Which means each case is treated a little differently. The main thing is to stay positive and take one step at a time. We live in a world that is on the fast track and we are used to having things get done quickly. Everything comes to a screaching halt and a lot of time is spent trying to figure out the best treatment for yourself. You'll get there and we will all be praying for you along the way.

Keep positive Mike. Good idea to get a second opinion. That's always a good idea. I've been praying for you and will keep on doing so.
