We have heard from the young ones, how about 60 or older ?

I don't fit in either group!

I'm way past 20 but not close to 60.

My mind is young, my body is old, my billfold is empty but my greenhouse is full!!

Maybe I should start my own group!

Not quite 60, but pretty close. Like Ross, I've been growing orchids since the early 70's.
I wish there had been something like the OB back then, maybe I wouldn't have killed so many.

I am looking forward to my 74th birthday. Mind you, I am looking forward to my 100th as well but I will start with my 74th.
I am an orchid recidivist, having started collecting in the 60's (1960's that is) and thought I had kicked the habit until a couple of years ago when I slipped back into a life of orchids.

I simply refuse to acknowledge that I am "older"!! More mature, perhaps, but certainly not OLD. Let's just suffice it to say that I can still remember 60; or at least I think I can!

I'll just say that I'm past 70 and have been growing for almost 25 years. I hope I'm not the only senior on the OB!!
