Oh wow! What a beautiful star shape bloom. I have no idea what this is, but that borders on being one of the most unique blooms I've ever seen.

Cool! I love the red "inner-tube" in the center and the pattern in the petals. Is that a Stapelia? Or is it a relative. I know there are a few other succulents like that, but Stapelia is the easiest one for me to remember.

They are real cool and I keep forgetting to look for it when I go the nursery. Someone else posted a picture of one and I think they had the name lifesaver in it.

I found the old thread. Huernia zebrina (Life Saver plant).
