Your right it's hard to know who is who on facebook :hmm. I'm Shannon Hummell. Mine's kinda easy though, my user name is ShannonH1984.

Matching up people's OB names with their real names on facebook is a problem I have found. I'm Rosie Coller which should be quite obvious as I think I'm the only Rosie.

I hadn't been using facebook much, but after an Orchid Board friend invited me to farmville (thanks Bingo :biggrin:) I got really addicted to that, so I'm there a lot now. :coverlaugh:

Once you have links to your friends it can be a really good way to keep in touch. The status updates act as just a quick way of knowing how people are doing and letting others know how you are doing. For example I hardly see my cousin on the other side of the world in NZ, but I see the pics they post of their daughter and can comment on them.

It is something to be careful with though. I never accept friend requests from people I don't know (well know online anyway), and after warnings from others I don't accept things which say they are from a friend without saying who they are from. Personally I also avoid most of the applications... although farmville managed to get through somehow and boy is that addictive! ...almost as addictive as Orchid Board. :biggrin:
