Indeed.
He turned out to be a pretty cool guy and is one of my best friends now. And since he knew I liked/grew orchids, he told me about an orchid exhibition at the MOBOT in St. Louis when he found out about it.

Back on topic: The 'Orchidboard on FB' group has grown quite a bit in such a short time. :)

my colleagues persuaded me to join facebook for quite a few weeks. i finally open an account this week - thus still empty... they told me to post pics of my chids and cats which i might do... now, i have another reason to post my pics there! to get you people see what i got becoz i'm too lazy to create a thread, but i like to see others chids! oh yeah, btw i already join the group, see my name there!

I just joined FaceBook a few days ago. So far I only have one friend though. I joined because I thought it might help me attract more people interested in AVON products. Oh well. But so far I really like facebook.

Good warning. Facebook is a great place for the uninformed to get their PC "worked over" very quickly. There are lots of warnings out there, so users beware! Watch especially for "friend" requests from people you don't recognize and apps that you aren't familiar with (these are the worst offenders).

I've been finding that the problems sometimes occur when you get a notification about receiving something from a "friend", rather than one of your actual friends' names
