Well, in TX every summer is a drought. And I complain every year. We stick to plants that can take the heat and drought so we rarely have to water. That leaves more time for the 'chids. Thanks for the comments everyone. I'll be sure to post a few more. My Crinums just popped open this morning!

I love seeing what's growing in other peoples yards! You have some very nice things in bloom, I like the rudbeckia type flower. Those are my favorites. We used to have a huge clump of them in our yard in northern VA. Doesn't look like there is drought, everything looks so green!
I'll be posting photos of what's blooming at my countryhouse once I get back to France next week.

You have a great-looking yard there, Royal. Doesn't look like you have a deer problem, which helps a lot . . . or do you have some special repellant for those nasty critters?
