Default Red hot and burning a hole in the sky........

My Aloes have flowered well this year which is surprising as we have had very little rain ,they are truly drought resistant !!

They're beautiful. We never see them blooming here in North East N.America unless at a botanical garden greenhouse.

I have never seen one flower before. That's amazing. They do look like red hot pokers. Thanks for showing us these blooms.

Wow, I have never seen an Aloe bloom. Very very cool.

Pitcher, the only plants that don't bloom are ferns, mosses, Pines and related trees and shrubs called Conifers--> you know, the needle leaved trees. Also Ginko trees. Everything else blooms in one way or another. Its just sometimes it take very specific conditions to get them to bloom, that's why many of us have probably never seen these in bloom before.
