Well, yes that was me and I was fortunate enough to get some from a rescue but have not been able to obtain it since. It seems to do well for a while then boom gone.
In case anyone gets any I would love to try again.
Harry,
It is a cool grower and should not be allowed to dry out at all!
I will see if I can encourage a friend up in the bay area to seek it out. he does some exploring for plants.
cheers.
Excellent, I plan on building a cool house this spring and summer. Well, actually the house is built just needs guts. It's 6'wx8'lx14'tall. I plan for one wall to have many limbs and fake logs for growing. Hopefully I can keep it below 80f in the summer.
Hi Harry,
Heard from my friend. He has not encountered it yet. I guess I need to dig up what info I have on its occurrence and let him know where it can be found if he is ever in the area.
There is also an Arizona species that is like S. oregana. It is called S. underwoodii and occurs on cliffs. If you know anyone in AZ it might be easier to find. ??
