Pecos Bill was quite a cowboy down in Texas, and the western superman to say the least. He was the roughest toughest critter, never known to be a quitter cause he never had no fear of man or beast. So yippee ya yay, ya yay, yippee ya yo, for the toughest critter west of the alamo.
Pecos lost his way, while traveling across the desert. It was 90 miles across the burning sand. He new he'd never reach the border, if he didn't get some water, so he got a stick and dug the Rio Grande!

I think Jack Johnson is still my all time favorite new artist. Good, groovsey, folk music. It's what I listen to when I need to get back into a good mood. But go B.B, and Aretha, she's one of my all time favs. And how 'bout Eric Clapton/Cream, Stevie Ray Vaughn, I'm a big guitarist fan, too. and CAKE! funky fun music!

Did you say music? Ahhh!
I like classical,some operas,operettas (by Franz Lehar,Sigmund Romberg,Gilbert and Sullivan,etc.),Broadway musicals of the 20's,30's and 40's,ragtime.
The chorus I sing with (85 members) is giving a concert in March of all Gershwin songs(a bit of a change from Mozart),and we are having a ball.

How about an experiment???
We could each choose 2 or 3 plants in our collection, of the same genre, and each would be assigned a specific type of music to be played for that plant an hour a day...see which ones do better with their music!
Anybody game???

Hmmm....The only thing I could do is give my orchidarium at work music, and not give my ones at home music. But that would prove nothing. nope, thats all I can do. Sorry. I wish... oh wait. I do have one NOID big Phal at work in separate room, I could possibly put some music to that one, and not to the 5 big Phals I got here at home. OK! I'm all for it!!!!

I Can See Clearly Now is the song I am playing at work for my orchid. I had it play next to my NOID Phal over the three day weekend. Hopefully it will do some good. I though Johnny Nash's I can see Clearly Now was an appropriate song for plants.

I can see clearly now the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind.
Its gonna be a bright sun shinny day.
Look all around there is nothing but blue skies
Look straight ahead, nothing but bue skies!

There's a new band that's gonna drop a CD come about April called HELLYEAH. Its Chad Gray from Mudvayne along with some of the guys from Nothingface (an extremely good band who unfortunately disbanded). Very very promising. Lots of talent there.
