Default Pitchers and Sundews

I've got orchid pics from this trip in their respective forums, but I just had to post a few of these bog pictures. In East TX most of the bogs are small little niches, "hanging bogs" as they're called, nutrient deficient openings deep in the woods. I had never seen one like this in an open field. When we pulled up I thought the yellow color was some spring wildflower. They were all pitchers! These are the Pale Pitcher Plants, Sarracenia alata, and the Sundew is Drosera brevifolia.

Me too, and then it's always one or two and that's it. Seeing so many together is just an amazing sight.
