We have lots of friends here on OB who live in Italy...I'm hoping they are all fine

Yes, a pretty strong one too. 6.3 I was watching it on the news this morning. Quite a bit of devastation
It's really sad

Yet on the flip side, it's also exciting. I'm fascinated with earthquakes, and reports say that a scientist in Italy pretty accurately predicted this one. But he was punished for "spreading fear & panic." Earthquake prediction isn't something that most of the scientific community believe is possible... but if it was, it could do so much good. I hope we can learn more from him and how he was able to make the prediction.
