Anthurium gracile. Does anyone know where I can find a vendor for this Anthurium? Thanks.

If anything, I can get some seeds for you...

they will take a long time to grow, which is the downfall...

PM me your address, and I will get some seeds to you. I may also have a few other rare Anthurium species seeds, but let me know if you are able to germinate them and grow them (some are VERY large species). I also have some good Amorphophallus seeds (I have the species written down), if interested and able, I'll send you a few...

I found a source of Anthurium gracile and it finally arrived today

The berries, not looking so good, but what the hay

The inflorescence

The leaves seem to have a metallice blue sheen. Could be a chemical, oil, or natural, or God forbid cold damage. Yikes, what do you think?

And this leaf is a bit different with indentations.

The berries are the real show with this one, but another note of interest is that this plant is an epiphyte. It has roots covered in velamin, just like Phalaenopsis does.
Look at these roots, just like orchid roots.

Many Anturiums are epiphytic and a few that are smallish. A gracile is one the consistently self pollinates. Others are A scandens, A llewelynii and A bakerii.
While I love all Anthuriums the smaller species are my favorites. This is a very nice plant indeed. Never seen the mettalic sheen on any I grow but if it is damage this ia a togh species and will quickly recover.

Thanks for the comments. I also have Anthurium clarinervum, and I had A. scandens, which I killed some how. I aslo have two hybrids, the kind they sell in supermarkets growing well. I have one potted in orchid mix, and another one is growing in the gravel next to a water feature in my big vivarium. Let me say its happy happy happy!!!! I got it when it was dieing and about to get tossed, and now it has 9 leaves, and two of them are a good 5 inches wide! Its has the red roots when they are emerging, bright red. I hope it flowers.
