I have quite a few of them, but seeing as they never have been my main interest, I don't have pics of them, and many don't have names! That's what happens when orchids take over your life!

Ruh-roh! I couldn't stop myself! I see trouble on the horizon!

Picked these two up at Lowe's this morning...along with a new plant rack for this collection. I'll post a pic when it's put together I was surprised to see a bunch of new succulents and cacti there, lots of species

Cassula perforata variegata and 'Golden Ball' Notocactus leninghausii...the bright blue blooms just screamed my name!

I was sure there are no cacti with such a bloom, but don't have my references with me. The only problem with this practice is it leaves small holes in the cactus that later on leave scar tissue. I personally never purchase these. But this is a great idea. There are some great cacti and succulent boards out there for those wanting more in-depth help or info.

Hi Ross

Do you suggest a particular reference book for me to get? I'm getting lots of info on the web but I would really like to have at least one book on these guys...preferably with care instructions, photos and descriptions.

Thanks

Be careful when purchasing from Lowe's Suzanne. Sometimes they glue straw flowers on top of their cactus plants.

Woops, you already know about that. Looks like I should have read more posts before putting in my Sorry.
