Thank you, Sue. I have a baby toes too. It had a small yellow bloom that withered up in a few days.

These succulents were purchased from Target last week. They offered a great selection in both 2" and 4" pots. I chose the smaller size. The pot's were very full of healthy specimens and cost less than $3.00 each. Go getcha some.

Nice plants! ... But I do hope no one will take it amiss if I make a correction to a common misconception. The plant(s) that thus far folks have been refering to as "lithops" actually aren't. To see some actual lithops, check here:

Regrettably, I can't remember what the correct scientific name is for what you do have.

I actually welcome being wrong . .it's a good excuse to learn thus I felt the need to do a little research . . .are they Argyroderma? or maybe Pleiospilos? and after reading the link you posted I see the difference.

Pleiospilos seems to ring a bell but some of the Argyroderma looks quite similar as well don't they?

they really do look similar. some look EXACTLY the same . . .

Definitely a flowering Stone, but not a Lithops. Beautiful coloured flower too - i think it could be a Pleiospilos. Check out Pleiospilos nelii - Split Rock - Aizoaceae for more details.
