I purchased these little succulents from Target the other day. They had a nice selection and all of them looked healthy. I just couldn't resist.

I LOVE lithops! Yours is HUGE . .well huge being a relative term seeing as the ones i usually see are sold with just one "stone" (what do you call them anyways? growths? stems?)
I have been meaning to get one forever.

AHA! they are leaves! so the living stones i usually see only have one pair of leaves.

Lithops were one of my first cacti yearsssssss ago .. I still love' em 
They remind me of little toes ..

Count me in on this one, please. I have had a cactus of one kind or another for over forty years. I just love the flowers.
N.leninghausii can be reluctant to flower although I think that could be lack of sunlight here.
Check out this link for really comprehensive advice http://www.mfaint.demon.co.uk/cactus/noto/- I found out here that although my N. rutilans likes cold dry winters, it can take a lot of water in summer, and this way managed to get flowers on a really small plant.

I like following this thread. I have a few also but do not know much about them. They like to be ignored, and that I can handle. I've lost a few to overwatering.  I'm still trying to figure out how to care for them without killing them. LOL |

I killed my Lithops. The only succulent I seem to be able to keep alive and well is my Jade.
