I think it may be Faucaria Tuberculosa but mine still doesn't look as fleshy as most of the pictures I see. The picture on that German site looks very much like it but then I look at other pics and I'm not so sure

PM your address to me and I'll mail some out to you as soon as I tackle that one

The first one with the red fruits is definitely a Mamillaria. If I were home with my reference manual I would look it up for you. The leggyness is due to insufficient light or too much fertilizer. Want me to bring it in April?

Thanks Ross

It must be a light thing then because I rarely feed these guys. I'll look at Mamillaria pictures to see if I can find it.
I have a number of cacti/succulents that aren't tagged so if you feel like bringing the manual, I won't argue with ya

I looked at 171 Mammilaria photos and none of them look like mine

I'm posting a better picture

I'm also posting another of the second one, with the "teeth" at it's edges...

and while I was out there I took pictures of two others I have no name for
Pictures 3 and 4 are one of them and pictures 5 and 6 is the other

Anybody game? As you can see, they're all growing like crazy so if you come up with the name and want some of any of them, let me know

The second one looks familiar, I think I know the name but it's not coming to me for now. I have a plant that looks a lot like the one in your last pic. The problem is, I only know its common name.... in french! I have to look it up.

Susanne

Since you are such a scientist at heart I have to let you know about this website. I cannot say whether they are up to date with the newest classification but it may help your initial search.

Photo gallery MICROPUNTIA

Alöe juvenna

I love these compact succulents. I agree with Ross they probably would be even more compact with more light. i am jealous since it will be no problem for you.

Thanks!

The first link's pictures look very very close to what I have but in those pictures the spines look much longer and sharper than mine. The search continues

The second link is a WINNER!!!
That is my plant! Thanks SO SO SO very much!

...and after looking through so many cactus catalogs today, I see some I absolutely MUST have!

Would you like some of the Aloe juvenna when I repot that one?

The third plant, with the fuzzy leaves, I would guess is some sort of Kalanchoe. It looks like a cross between blossfeldiana (at least when it grows it's smaller leaves) and a fuzzy one. Can't get much more specific, sorry. Similarly vague, I think that the last plant is a crassula. Unfortunately, I left a great book for identifying succulents at home! I only have 3 plant books! What was I thinking?!

Sue, the cactus is a Mammillaria species, and the other plant is an Aloe... most probably Aloe juvenna...

Sue, the fruits on your Cactus are typical for Mammillaria kep in mind, that there are about 200 species in this genus, and that depending on the growing conditions they can have different growth habits (not very good conditions, and they would tend to be elongated! <-- that's what your plant look like to me )

my guess: compresa, swinglei or scheidweileriana but it could be any other...
