Why Steve! Whatever could you mean? Not wanting to snorkle in a big lake of ice water?! Sounds great to me! Nothing beats a cold alpine lake after a hot day on the trail, although if it still has ice on top that may be pushing it.

Unfortunately, to preserve the purity of the water, swimming is not allowed in Crater Lake.

Ahhh! Research grants! Music to my ears, once I get to the point where I'm actually doing research. On to grad school! Charge!!!
