FRS Healthy Energy, Healthy Energy Drink
Allergy aside this is a very healthy way to get extra energy and helps to recover from a workout quicker. Its not at all like the energy drinks you get in convenient stores. Rather then explaining it here visit there website and all the info is there. Lance Armstrong now endorses it. 7 time tour de France winner and cancer survivor. I'm not trying to sell you on this other then it has helped me and thought it might do the same for you. Its no magic pill, it just helps. I like there Low Carb powered mix (orange & lemon/lime). And the pomegranate/blueberry chews.

Gosh
I really wish that I could use some of the supplements that some of the body builders use, but my situation will not allow me to do that. I have to rely on being able to do it the old fashioned way. Workout as hard as I can when I go to the gym and watch what I am eating. Get lots of fiber and good amounts of protein and carbohydrates, without getting as many as some of the builders get( we're talking over 3000 to 4500 or more) If I ate like that, someone would be chasing me with a hatchet. LOL!! Tomorrow is another lift day. At least 25 sets, plus my cardio work.

Under 190
For the first time in a number of years. Since modifying my diet, my program is doing much better. I may actually reach my goal by late April. Originally, I had thought by late March, but I just do not see that happening. It is just too much, too soon. Oh well, I am doing what I am supposed to be doing and not trying to take it off too quick.

Well, looks like effort will have to be upped again
I took it pretty easy last week and my weight is up again, so I have to get back at it. I had laid off the cardio somewhat last week and it caught up with me.

Gregg - what is your overall goal?
I'm too lazy to read back the other posts in this thread ..
I lost 45 lbs in less than a year and am still in the mist of losing another 10 lbs .. my goal weight is 135lbs .. I am 5'9'' - so if I get any lighter, I'll get blown away by a gentle breeze ..

Well, I wanted
To get down to 175#. That would put my weight loss at about 63 pounds. At that point, I want to keep it where it is and improve my amount of muscle. My goal on that is 15% body fat. The last time it was done, my assessment was 198.8# and 23.6% body fat. As of this morning, I was 187.6#, which has gone up the past few days. I suspect that it might be because of too much salt on Friday night. I am very sensitive to it, much more than I used to be because I just don't eat much of it. Unfortunately, when you go to a restaurant as my wife and I occasionally do, you are exposed to more salt than you should eat, even in a good restaurant. We are supposed to have no more than 2300mg./day, which is about a teaspoon, but you need to take into account that prepared foods have a lot in them, too.

Another plateau
Darn it!! Here I am again at another plateau. It happened at 200# also. I am 187-188# now and am having a tough time losing more. I will continue doing what I do and hopefully, it will kick in again, soon. That is all I can do. Got some new tunes on my mp3, so I am ready for some extended cardio work.

Hey Gregg, I wouldn't get upset over a couple pounds. I weigh myself regularly and my weight fluctuates. My average weight is 180 and its not uncommon to see it go up to 185 or down to 177. Lots of things can cause this, drinking a lot of water for one, heavy foods and yes salt will definitely retain water. Your doing great, don't get discouraged you will make it. The last 5 to 10 lbs. are always the hardest. Like you my ideal weight is 175 (that's when I feel my best).
