Marilyn
I do all the time. Also, we share cooking duties as she goes to the gym four days a week, most times, after work.

I have a major weight issue due to medication and lack of exercise due to the fact I have M.E/CFS and cannot do vry much due to pain fatigue and muscle exhaustion. I need to do something as my health is adversely affected by carrying more weight but being home all day and having a sweet tooth dont all add to the ideal situation for dieting. I have considered joining weight watchers or slimming world but nothing will work till I can quit eating the cakes, biscuits and crisps, Problem is if my husband says anything i get defensive and upset. I will try extra hard to get myself in order before i turn into a beach ball 190lb is too much for a 5ft 5inch woman.

Thanks, Sue
It seems to get easier all the time. Sometimes, it's hard to believe that in March 2008, I was 228# and I have lost 47# of fat and gained 10# of muscle. I am hoping that by late March 2009, I will have reached my goal of 175#. I am just glad I have had the time to do it. I am seriously thinking about trying to become a personal trainer after my goal has been reached. I would think that the fact that I had a transplant and was able to work through the high blood sugar induced medications should show folks that I might know a little bit of what it takes to lose weight and get into shape.

Great Job Gregg. Come on down in the summer time and I take you for a couple of hikes in the glades. You will be sure to lose the rest and fast.

Hi Playtime, I mentioned FRS healthy Energy earlier in the thread. It really works although not sure if it is available in the UK. I swear by it.

I agree with that one, I am convinced that fizzy drinks stretch the stomach, meaning there's a bigger space to fill when you are confronted with those hard to resist items.
Good luck with the change of lifestyle, Gregg, you certainly seem to be trying very hard.
All the best

Basically
They are empty calories. They don't provide anything for your body that is good for it.
